Today we bring you information about some of the UP Cricketers in IPL 2021. Uttar Pradesh have won a Ranji Trophy title, a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and a Vijay Hazare Trophy title. Some of the famous names from Uttar Pradesh are Mohammad Kaif, Rudra Pratap Singh, & Praveen Kumar, while Sudeep Tyagi, Gyanendra Pandey & Gopal Sharma.

Suresh Raina
The Muradnagar born left handed batsman who bowls off break, Suresh Raina, has played age group cricket for Uttar Pradesh before debuting in first class in 2003. Raina was picked by MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings in the inaugural edition of Indian Premier League and has since then been part of the T20 tournament, except for the 2020 season when he withdrew amidst the corona pandemic surge in India.
During the period, Raina has played for Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Lions for the two years when the MA Chidambaram stadium outfit was banned. Suresh, thus, feature among the UP Cricketers in IPL 2021; the cricketer also feature among the top 5 run scorers in IPL.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar
The Meerut born right arm medium pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar Singh made his domestic cricket debut for Uttar Pradesh in 2007. Kumar was picked by Anil Kumble led Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2009, but would get his first IPL match in 2011, when he was playing for Pune Warriors India. Bhuvi has, since then, been part of the Indian T20 league though he would go on to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2014 onward.
The medium pacer is the pace spearhead of this team as he features among the UP Cricketers in IPL 2021. Kumar would be the lead wicket-taker in Indian Premier League season 2016 and 2017. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Indian Premier League 2021.
Shivam Mavi
The Noida born right arm pacer was part of the Indian squad for the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018 that also had Prithvi Shaw, Shubman Gill, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Riyan Parag, Ishan Porel, Abhishek Sharma, Anukul Roy & Arshdeep Singh as members. All these have been part of Indian Premier League set up. Shivam started his domestic career with Uttar Pradesh in 2018 and debuted in Indian Premier League in 2018 for Kolkata Knight Riders. Mavi has, since then, been part of the BCCI run T20 tournament, as he features among the UP Cricketers in IPL 2021.
Kuldeep Yadav
The Kanpur born left arm unorthodox bowler was a member of quarterfinalists India’s squad at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2014 that also had Avesh Khan, Deepak Hooda, Shreyas Iyer, Sarfaraz Khan & Sanju Samson as members. Yadav started his domestic career with Uttar Pradesh in 2014 two years after he had debuted in Indian Premier League (2012) for Mumbai Indians. His debut match in IPL, however, came in IPL 2016 for Kolkata Knight Riders and has since then been part of the T20 tournament though his performances had a zig zag feature. Yadav’s best came in IPL 2018 when he was joint highest wicket-taker for his franchise along with Sunil Narine. Kuldeep has been with KKR and features among the UP Cricketers in IPL 2021.
Priyam Garg
The Meerut born right handed batsman, Priyam Garg, was the captain of the Indian U-19 team at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2020, a team that also had Ravi Bishnoi, Kartik Tyagi, Yashasvi Jaiswal & Akash Singh among the known names. Garg started his domestic career with Uttar Pradesh in 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Priyam was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad during IPL 2020 auctions and has, been part of this Indian Premier League franchise as he features among the UP cricketers in IPL 2021.
Mohammed Shami, Yashasvi Jaiswal & Deepak Chahar played for Bengal, Mumbai& Rajasthan respectively in their domestic career while Kartik Tyagi, Piyush Chawla, Mohsin Khan, Rinku Singh, Saurabh Kumar, and Karn Sharma are other cricketers who represent UP cricketers in IPL 2021.
