Mumbai: An enthralling initiative taken by BCCI (the Board of Control for Cricket in India) for cricket fans to mark India’s historic 500th Test sparked intense debate on the social media as well as of it.
BCCI on first day of India v/s New Zealand Test series asked fans to vote for their best team online. With 285 players having earned India’s Test cap since 1932, the job for picking a Dream Team wasn’t easy.
Finally, the Indian board put out the final results on the 5th Day of the Kanpur Test, with just two players from the 80’s – Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev being part of it.
However, it was name of Yuvraj Singh that shocked more than anything else, especially for Sourav Ganguly’s fans. After which, social media was set on fire by Dada’s followers. Followings are some of the tweets, that are enough for one to understand the situation.
