Petric’s goal for Dortmund in injury time pulled the game to extra time before Toni settled matters with his 103rd minute strike.

Redemption for Bayern as a game of penalties went down to the wire with Oliver Kahn stepping up to the plate to bring home the Champions League to Munich.

6. Hamburger SV 1 – 2 Bayern Munich, 2000-01 Bundesliga
Total drama unfolded at Hamburg as Bayern secured the 2000-01 league title at the expense of bitter rivals Shalke 04 thanks to a Patrik Andersson last minute freekick.
Shalke had done their bit at home but Bayern were not giving up as they scored from a freekick inside the box to spark mad celebrations.

Having been crowned the champions of Europe and Germany, Bayern Munich were looking to be the first team to win the treble against Stuttgart in the DFB Pokal Final.
