Today we bring you information about the RR players eligible for mid-season transfers. The team who put the IPL on the global map, the inaugural champions of the Indian Premier League, Rajasthan Royals have not been able to replicate their spellbinding performances since their winning run in 2008. Led by the charismatic Shane Warne, the team full of unknown youngsters then like Ravindra Jadeja who would go on to become future India superstars, shocked the world with their inspired performances.
Although we have seen flashes of brilliance in the squad, it’s their inconsistency that has pegged them back considerably. They started with a bang this season as well with inspired performances from the former Australian test captain, Steve Smith and Indian batting sensation Sanju Samson, they have wilted down the pecking order with each game.
Moreover, the addition of International cricketing stars like Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes, two of the best cricketers in limited-overs cricket at the moment, and the heroes of the English triumph in the World Cup have not been able to perform according to the expected standards. Apart from them, there are a few other RR players eligible for mid-season transfers-
Varun Aaron
This Indian speedster came with a lot of promise after clocking speeds that were never before seen in Indian domestic cricket. He was built as the next big thing in the Indian bowling circuit. But his erratic performances in all forms of the game after getting several opportunities were detrimental to his Indian career which ultimately led him to be dropped from the team.

Since then Aaron has been part of the reserve bench and has not been able to deliver with the ball at important and crucial junctures of the match. Moreover, the Indian contingent of bowlers in the Royals department has not imposed faith in Varun and thus he has not been part of a single match of their campaign this time. There is thus a high chance that might be shifting to some other franchise in the IPL. Among the RR players eligible for mid-season transfers.
Oshane Thomas (West Indies)
This West Indies quick burst onto the international scene with some power-packed performances with the ball under his belt. His raw pace and sheer brutal bouncers had earned him the reputation of being a fearsome fast bowler and a great prospect for the future. But his inconsistent performance in a few games was unable to reaffirm the faith that the selectors imposed on him initially.
Thus despite having a relatively weakened fast bowling department with nobody being able to support a bowler of Jofra Archer‘s caliber, Oshane would have been a viable option. However, the team management was not convinced with the performances he put in and he has thus been sidelined which all the more increases his chance of changing the franchise. Mayank Markande
This leg spinner who featured for Mumbai in the last season was instrumental behind their fourth title triumph and was a strong contender for the IPL Emerging Player award. His googly’s had troubled the batsmen throughout the tournament.
But this season, Rajasthan despite roping him has not given him the necessary opportunities to showcase his talent with the ball. Moreover, the disastrous campaign that Rajasthan has had has not benefited his chances and prospects as well. Among the RR players eligible for mid-season transfers.
David Miller (South Africa)
The explosive South African middle-order batsman who had made a name for himself in the last few years playing some extraordinary innings in the shorter versions of the game has somewhat fallen out of favor. Although he was selected in a few matches, he was not able to make the same quantum of the impact that one expects from him.

Moreover, with the arrival of Ben Stokes, it is highly unlikely that Miller would get an opportunity to play in the middle order with Stokes doubling up to play the role of a finisher as well. There is a chance that he might for a mid-season transfer. Among the RR players eligible for mid-season transfers.
