Umesh Yadav
Indian International Cricketer Umesh Yadav was released by the Royal challengers Bangalore team just before the IPL 2021 auctions. The Bangalore based side had finished 4th in the 2020 edition as Umesh could play just two matches in the season. He hadn’t had a good 2019 season as well for the team. Sam Billings
The Kent wicket-keeper Batsman Samuel William Billings has been part of various T20 leagues across the globe. Sam Billings has already played for four seasons of the Indian Premier League and the teams he has represented are Chennai Super Kings & Delhi Daredevils. Billings is among the eight players bought by DC for IPL 2021 season. Delhi Capitals had to spend 20 Lacs Indian Rupees for this purchase. In the 2018 season Billings got 10 games for the MS Dhoni side as he would score 108 runs including a 56.
Steven Smith
The Australian Mr. Consistent of this generation was leading Rajasthan Royals in last season but was let go by the SMS Stadium based side before the IPL 2021 auction. Smith hadn’t had a great outing in the 2020 season as his team finished the season at the bottom of the table with just 6 wins off the season. Change of guard was imminent and RR Management put their muscle behind Sanju Samson as the new Captain. Tom Curran
The England Pace Bowling All-rounder Thomas Kevin Curran was also part of the Rajasthan Royals team in IPL 2020. Curran played 5 matches in the season and scored 83 runs & 3 wickets overall.
