Today we bring to you the bowlers who picked the attention as well as the most wickets in IPL 2016. The pre-season saw two teams namely Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings banned for two years, and in came Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Supergiants to take their places for this 8 team league. Here we read about those bowlers who took the most wickets in IPL 2016.
5. Mustafizur Rahman
The Satkhira District born bowler came into the international reckoning in his first two ODIs when he became the second bowler in the ODI history to pick two fifers from two matches. The Left am medium pacer from Bangladesh features in our list of Cricketers with the most wickets in IPL 2016. Mustafizur Rahman took 17 wickets in 12 matches that he played in Indian Premier League 2016 at an average of 24.76 & strike rate of 21.52. His best in the season was 3/16 which is incidentally his best from IPL.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler has picked 24 wickets from 24 IPL matches. The average 28.54 and strike rate of 22.79 from his IPL career perhaps will improve in the coming season.

4. Dhawal Kulkarni
The Mumbai born Bowler was part of Gujarat Lions in IPL Cricket. The Mumbai Ranji Cricketer features in our list of Cricketers with the most wickets in IPL 2016. Dhawal Kulkarni took 18 wickets in 14 matches that he played in Indian Premier League 2016 at an average of 20.22 & strike rate of 16.33. His best from the season was 4/14 which is incidentally his best from the league.
During his ongoing IPL career, he has picked 86 wickets from 90 IPL matches at an average of 27.95 & strike rate of 20.29 with economy rate of 8.26. He is currently playing for the Wankhede based Franchise.

3. Shane Watson
The Australian Cricketer has on and off shown the kind of talent he possessed. The all-rounder features in our list of Cricketers with the most wickets in IPL 2016 when he was representing Royal Challengers Bangalore. Shane Watson took 20 wickets in 16 matches that he played in Indian Premier League 2016 at an average of 24.25 & strike rate of 16.95. His best from the season was 4/29 which is his best in IPL so far.
Being an all-rounder, he is also a decent bat and has scored over 3500 runs. Watson has picked 92 wickets from 134 IPL matches at an average of 29.15 & strike rate of 22.05 with economy rate of 7.93. He plays for Chennai Super Kings.

2. Yuzvendra Chahal
The Leg spin Bowler plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL Cricket. The Jind born bowler features in our list of Cricketers with the most wickets in IPL 2016. Yuzvendra Chahal took 21 wickets in 13 matches that he played in Indian Premier League 2016 at an average of 19.09 & strike rate of 14.04. His best from the season was 4/25 which is also his best from the league.
During his ongoing IPL Career, he has picked 100 wickets from 84 IPL matches at an average of 23.18 & strike rate of 17.87 with economy rate of 7.78 including two 4 wicket hauls.

1. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
The Indian Medium Pacer has been one of the most improved bowlers coming from this generation. Started as a genuine swing bowler, he worked on his death bowling to be one of the key to India’s success in past few years. The Sunrisers Hyderabad Bowler leads our list of Cricketers with the most wickets in IPL 2016. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 23 wickets in 17 matches that he played in Indian Premier League 2016 at an average of 21.30 & strike rate of 17.21. His best from the season was 4/29.
In a pretty decent Career, he has picked 133 IPL wickets from 117 matches. He has two 4-wicket hauls to his credit in IPL and a 5 wicket haul as well, the one from 2017 season, his best from IPL 5/19.
