The English Premier League 2002–03 or EPL 2002–03 was the eleventh edition of the English Football tournament, hosted during August 17, 2002- May 11, 2003. His team would win 18, lose 10 & draw 10 from the 38 matches they had in the season to finish at 5th in the 20 team competition and hence they qualified to UEFA Cup first round. Owen scored two hat-tricks in the season; one against West Bromwich Albion in his team’s 6-0 win and the other against Manchester City in their 3-0 win.

The Leeds United Footballer Mark Anthony Viduka would hit 20 goals for his team during the 2002–03 tournament. With these goals, the Australian Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in Premier League 2002–03. Viduka would also score a hat-trick during the season, against Charlton Athletic in his team’s 6-1 win. Leeds United would go on to win 14, losing 19 & drawing 5 to finish 15th in the team table, as Viduka’s performance wouldn’t transform into team’s fortune.
3. James Beattie (Southampton)
The Southampton Footballer James Scott Beattie would score 23 goals for the team during the 2002–03 tournament. With these goals, the England footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in Premier League 2002–03. His team would win 13, lose 12 & draw 13 from the season to finish eighth and hence they qualified to UEFA Cup first round.
2. Thierry Henry (Arsenal)
French Football legend Thierry Daniel Henry would score 24 goals for the Emirates Stadium based side during the 2002–03 tournament, a repeat of his goal number of previous edition, though this time he wouldn’t be the top scorer. With these goals, the Former Juventus Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in Premier League 2002–03. His team would win 23, lose 6 & draw 9 in the season to finish second in the 20 team tournament, and qualify to the Champions League third qualifying round. Henry would also score a hat-trick during the season, against West Ham United in his team’s 3-1 win.
1. Ruud van Nistelrooy (Manchester United)
The Manchester United Footballer, Rutgerus Johannes Martinus van Nistelrooy scored 25 goals for his team during the 2002–03 tournament. With these goals, the former Den Bosch Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in Premier League 2002–03, in fact leading the list. His scores included hat-tricks against Newcastle United, Fulham & Charlton Athletic during the season. His team would win 25, lose 5 & draw 8 to win their 8th Premier League tournament and also qualify for Champions League group stage.

While Manchester United won their eighth title of the Premier League in the eleventh edition, Arsenal finished second in the season.
