His team would win 19, lose 13 & draw 6 to finish 7th in the 20 team tournament edition and qualify for the Europa League third qualifying round.

His team would win 23, lose 6 & draw 9 to finish third in the 20 team tournament edition as they qualified for the Champions League group stage. Griezmann’s assists’ count would be 8 in this season.
4. Iago Aspas (Celta Vigo)
Former Liverpool Footballer Iago Aspas Juncal would go on to score 19 goals for Estadio Municipal de Balaídos based club during the 2016-17 tournament. With these goals, the Spanish footballer would feature among the footballers with the most goals in La Liga 2016-17. His team would finish 13th in the team table as they’d win 13, lose 19 & draw 6 from the 38 matches of the La Liga tournament.
3. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
Former Manchester United Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro would score 25 goals for his team during the 2016-17 tournament. With these goals, the Portuguese Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in La Liga 2016-17. The Estadio Santiago Bernabéu based side would finish atop the team table winning 29, losing 3 & drawing 6 and qualify for the Champions League group stage. Ronaldo would score two hat-tricks during the tournament, in a 4-1 win against Alavés & in a 3-0 win against Atlético Madrid.
2. Luis Suárez (FC Barcelona)
Former Liverpool Footballer Luis Alberto Suárez Díaz would go on to score 29 goals for the Camp Nou based club during the 2016-17 tournament. With these goals, the Uruguay Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in La Liga 2016-17. The Lionel Messi led side would finish second on the table in the La Liga tournament edition. Suárez would score a hat-trick during the tournament, in a 6-1 win against Real Betis and his assists’ count would be 14 in this season.

His team would win 28, lose 4 & draw 6 from the competition to narrowly miss the title of the tournament edition but qualify for the Champions League group stage. Messi’s assists’ count would be 9 in this season.
