Today, we’ll discuss about batting innings which got registered as the highest individual scores in IPL. These cricketers, single-handed, turned the match results in their teams’ favor. While these cricketers may not have done the bulk of scoring all through the seasons or multiple-seasons, their stroke-play & these listed innings are worth a look back.
Out of these 10 innings, 7 innings had batsmen staying not out meaning there could be more runs had they got more balls. So, here, the list of top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history.
10. Andrew Symonds
The Deccan Chargers‘ Cricketer scored his career best innings in IPL in 2008 against Rajasthan Royals. His 117 not out put Andrew Symonds into the top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history. During his innings of 53 balls he hit 11 fours and 7 sixes. His team however couldn’t defend a massive 215 target as Rajasthan Royals won the match by 3 wickets.
During his IPL Career, he stroked 974 runs from 39 IPL matches at an average of 36.07 & strike rate of 129.86 with 1 hundred & 5 fifties. He has played for two IPL Teams, with Mumbai Indians being the other.
9. Shane Watson
The Chennai Super Kings’ Cricketer scored his career best innings in IPL in 2018 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. His 117 not out put Shane Watson into the top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history. During his innings of 57 balls he hit 11 fours and 8 sixes. His team was chasing a modest 179 and were successful thanks to his innings.

During his IPL Career, he stroked 3575 runs from 134 IPL matches at an average of 31.08 & strike rate of 139.53 with 4 hundred & 19 fifties. He has played for three IPL Teams, with Rajasthan Royals & Royal Challengers Bangalore being the other two.
8. Paul Valthaty
The Kings XI Punjab‘s Cricketer scored his career best innings in IPL in 2011 against Chennai Super Kings. His 120 not out put Paul Valthaty into the top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history. During his innings of 63 balls he hit 19 fours and 2 sixes. His team was chasing a decent 189 and were successful thanks to his innings.
During his IPL Career, he stroked 505 runs from 23 IPL matches at an average of 22.95 & strike rate of 120.81 with 1 hundred & 2 fifties. He has played for two IPL Teams, with Rajasthan Royals being the other team.
7. Virender Sehwag
The Kings XI Punjab‘s Cricketer scored his career best innings in IPL in 2014 against Chennai Super Kings. His 122 put Virender Sehwag into the top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history. During his innings of 58 balls he hit 12 fours and 8 sixes. His team scored 226/6 to restrict the opponents at 202 sneaking a 20 runs win.
During his IPL Career, he stroked 2728 runs from 104 IPL matches at an average of 27.55 & strike rate of 155.44 with 2 hundred & 16 fifties. He has played for two IPL Teams, with Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) being the other one.

6. David Warner
The Sunrisers Hyderabad‘s Cricketer scored his career best innings in IPL in 2017 against Kolkata Knight Riders. His 126 put David Warner into the top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history. During his innings of 59 balls he hit 10 fours and 8 sixes. His team scored 209/3 to restrict the opponents at 161 getting a 48 runs win.
During his IPL Career, he stroked 4706 runs from 126 IPL matches at an average of 43.17 & strike rate of 142.39 with 4 hundred & 44 fifties. He has played for two IPL Teams, with Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) being the other one.
5. Murali Vijay
The Chennai Super Kings‘ Cricketer scored his career best innings in IPL in 2010 against Rajasthan Royals. His 127 put Murali Vijay into the top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history. During his innings of 56 balls he hit 8 fours and 11 sixes. His team scored 246/5 to restrict the opponents at 223 getting a 23 runs win.
During his IPL Career, he stroked 2587 runs from 103 IPL matches at an average of 26.39 & strike rate of 122.83 with 2 hundred & 13 fifties. He has played for three IPL Teams, with Delhi Daredevils & Kings XI Punjab being the other two.
4. Rishabh Pant
The Delhi Daredevils‘ Cricketer scored his career best innings in IPL in 2018 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. His 128 not out put Rishabh Pant into the top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history. During his innings of 63 balls he hit 15 fours and 7 sixes. His team however couldn’t defend an 187 as Hyderabad won the match by 9 wickets.
During his IPL Career, he stroked 1736 runs from 54 IPL matches at an average of 36.16 & strike rate of 162.69 with 1 hundred & 11 fifties. He has played for just one team (Delhi Daredevils is now known as Delhi Capitals).

The Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Cricketer scored his career best innings in IPL in 2015 against Mumbai Indians. His 133 not out put AB de Villiers into the top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history. During his innings of 59 balls he hit 19 fours and 4 sixes. His team scored 235/1 to restrict the opponents at 196/7 getting a 39 runs win.
During his IPL Career, he stroked 4395 runs from 154 IPL matches at an average of 39.95 & strike rate of 151.23 with 3 hundred & 33 fifties. He has played for two IPL Teams, with Delhi Daredevils being the other one.
2. Brendon McCullum
The Kolkata Knight Riders‘ Cricketer scored his career best innings in IPL in 2008 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. His 158 not out put Brendon McCullum into the top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history. During his innings of 73 balls he hit 10 fours and 13 sixes. His team scored 222/3 to restrict the opponents at 82 getting a massive 140 runs win.
During his IPL Career, he stroked 2880 runs from 109 IPL matches at an average of 27.69 & strike rate of 131.74 with 2 hundred & 13 fifties. The Royal Challengers Bangalore‘s Cricketer scored his career best innings in IPL in 2013 against Pune Warriors. His 175 not out got Chris Gayle leading the top 10 of the highest individual scores in IPL history. During his innings of 66 balls he hit 13 fours and 17 sixes. His team scored 263/5 to restrict the opponents at 133/9 getting a massive 130 runs win.
During his IPL Career, he stroked 4484 runs from 125 IPL matches at an average of 41.13 & strike rate of 151.02 with 6 hundred & 28 fifties. He has played for three IPL Teams, with Kings XI Punjab, & Kolkata Knight Riders being the other two.
