Delhi Dynamos FC took upon Chennaiyin FC a stalemate finish today at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. The sixteenth match of Indian Super League saw both sides finish with no progress except the points table.
Francisco Dorronsoro delivered a master class for Dynamos. Chennaiyin had better chances but failed to strike through the Spanish goalkeeper. Both the teams are still searching for their first win the fifth season of the league.

Chennaiyin lost a marvelous scope to hit the ball to the back of the net but failed to the stunning reflex save by Dorronsoro. It was a corner kick from Isaac V in as early as in the second minute. Raphael Augusto looked in the mood to score, but his piledriver lacked enough force to trouble Dorronsoro.
The next Delhi’s goalkeeper was called into action was in the 40th minute. It was the powerful strike from unmarked Thoi Singh that failed to take a lead for Chennaiyin and was again kept out.

The Dynamos took their first strike at the stroke of halftime. Karanjit Singh forced a save to the header taken by the striker.
Chennaiyin was seen threatening the clean sheet soon after the lemon break. The ball was sent wide by the striker to the fortune of the Dynamos. It was Salom’s touch from Augustos through ball from midfield but the end product was disheartening for the visitors.

Chennaiyin back line dealt well with the crosses in the box by the struggling hosts. The Dynamos had trouble to find gaps.
The defending champions met a great loss by the onrushing goalkeeper in the 70th minute. It was a glorious chance for the visitors to score a breakthrough goal. Dorronsoro showcased a brilliant save and dealt with the counter-attack effortlessly as he was seen defending the net since the kickoff. He put a fine show under the bar.
