3. Gyula Zsengellér
The Újpest FC Striker was part of the Hungary team since 1936. Gyula Zsengellér would hit 5 goals from 4 matches he played during the tournament. With these 5 goals, this former Salgótarjáni TC Footballer got himself among the footballers with the second most goals in FIFA World Cup 1938.
His team went on to play the tournament final, but couldn’t pass the final frontier to become the Champions as they lost 4-2 in the final. Zsengellér was, thus, one of the three silver shoe recipients.

His team, who would have 4 footballers among the tournament’s scorers, with Perácio, Romeu & Roberto all featuring on the scoreboard would go on to finish 3rd in the mega tournament.
