India was playing against hosts England in the third test of the test series in 2002. Tendulkar, joined Rahul at the fall of Sanjay Bangar’s wicket and added 150 runs with him when Rahul Dravid was stumped over a ball from Giles. Sachin continued on and added 249 runs with Captain Ganguly, scoring his ton in the process on August 23 before ending his innings on Day 3 at 193 (August 24), at Leeds.
