New Zealand was in charge of the match when it gave a huge target of 358 runs to Team Canada. Brendon McCullum with his 101 runs off 109 balls which included 12 fours and 2 sixes was a special inning. Ross Taylor played like a captain & hit 5 sixes to score 74 runs off 44 balls. 1. India – 370/4 (50 overs)
The match between India vs Bangladesh was the high score match of the tournament when India scored 370 runs off 4 at Dhaka. It was a mammoth knock of opener Virender Sehwag who scored 175 runs off 140 balls with 14 fours and 5 huge sixes. Sehwag was well supported by Virat Kohli with 100 not out off 83 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes. Even Gautam Gambhir scored 39 runs off 39 balls. The three Delhi players had a lot of fun together against the Bangladesh team and India won by 87 runs.
