Today we bring you information about some of the Assam Cricketers in IPL 2021. Assam is among those teams of Indian Domestic Cricket, who are yet to win top tournaments like Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Irani Trophy or Vijay Hazare Trophy. The Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Cricket Stadium or Barsapara Cricket Stadium based side hadn’t had any representation to international cricket in senior level, but there have been a few cricketers who played under-19 cricket for India. Hemanga Baruah, Rajesh Bora, Gautam Dutta, Zaved Zaman, Mrigen Talukdar, Palash Jyoti Das, Khanin Saikia, Sadek Imran Chowdhury, Abu Nechim, Parvez Aziz, Krishna Das and Riyan Parag made to the Indian U-19 team.

Riyan Parag
The Guwahati born Right-handed batter Riyan Parag Das started his domestic career with Assam in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. Riyan Parag has played age group cricket for both Assam and India. Parag was part of the India Under-19 cricket team at the 2017 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup that included Abhishek Sharma, Manjot Kalra, Anukul Roy, Darshan Nalkande & Anuj Rawat. Riyan was also part of the ICC U-19 World Cup 2018 team of India that won the tournament. Riyan Parag was picked by the Ajinkya Rahane led Rajasthan Royals during IPL 2019 auctions. The right handed batsman has, since then, been part of the pink city based franchise as he solely represents Assam Cricketers in IPL 2021. Parag, in his debut season, became the youngest cricketer to score an IPL fifty when he scored exact 50 runs against Delhi Capitals at Feroz Shah Kotla ground, Delhi.
These were the cricketers who represent Assam Cricketers in IPL 2021. Saahil Jain & Rajjakuddin Ahmed would be looking to make a cut to the tournament in the mega auction 2022.
