Today we bring you the six players purchased by CSK for IPL 2021. The MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings had a horrid Indian Premier League 2020 season as they would win just 6 matches in the 14 matches they played in the season to finish at 7th in the 8 team tournament. The MA Chidambaram stadium based outfit is looking for a revamp in their fortunes in the 2021 season as they went with changes in their ranks to resolve the issues. While they released Kedar Jadhav, Piyush Chawla, Murali Vijay, Harbhajan Singh, Monu Singh before the auctions with Shane Watson retiring from cricket recently adding to the list, here we talk about six players purchased by CSK for IPL 2021 season.
K Bhagath Varma
Hyderabad born Kanumuri Bhagath Varma is an off-spinner and right handed batsman will debut in the Indian Premier League’s Chennai based side during IPL 2021. The all-rounder has represented Hyderabad team and was also a part of the Indian Under 19 team that went to England tour in 2017. Varma was the highest wicket taker in the Cooch Behar under-19 tournament in 2017 and that got him the chance to represent India Under-19 in England.
