Profile | Moeen Munir Ali is an English international cricketer, who has been playing for the national England team since 2014. He is an all-rounder and represents the Warwickshire team in county cricket. He was born in Birmingham in 1987 and started playing cricket professionally at the age of 15. Moeen Ali is a British by nationality and belongs to the Mirapuri Muslim community. He began his domestic career with county’s second XI team and appeared in England Under-19 team as his first outing in 2004. The very next year, Moeen Ali made his first-class debut in domestic cricket and consequently entered the Under-19 Cricket World Cup team in 2016. After playing a few list-A domestic tournaments, Moeen Ali got a chance to appear in the international cricket team of the country in 2014. His impactful performance gave him a chance to enter in the 2015 World Cup team. With this golden chance, Moeen Ali has made a permanent place in the national team and keeps serving his country with both batting and bowling. It is his skill of off-spin that helps him to gain the chance to support the national team when in needs. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler, who made his IPL debut with Royal Challengers Bangalore team in 2018.
