5. Suresh Raina
The middle order batsman of yesteryear, Suresh Raina, was among the really good ODI batsmen. When he scored his first century on June 25, 2008, he had missed the opportunity of becoming the youngest Indian to score ODI Century by 211 days. He scored his first against Hong Kong at the age of 21 years and 211 days.

He scored 101 off 68 balls with 7 fours & 5 sixes at Karachi during Asia Cup 2008. India scored 374/4 from their 50 overs. Hong Kong, in reply, were bowled out for 118 handing India a 156 runs win with Piyush Chawla taking 4 for.
4. Sachin Tendulkar
The God of Cricket is there in like all records we have in Cricket. Tendulkar carried the Indian Team on his shoulders for well over two decades. When he scored his first ODI century his age was 21 years and 138 days. He missed being the youngest ODI century maker by just 138 days.

On September 9, 1994, Sachin scored 110 off 130 balls with 8 fours & 2 sixes against Australia at Colombo during a Singer World Series match. India made 246/8 from their 50 overs. Australia, in reply, were bowled out for 215 handing India a 31 runs win with Manoj Prabhakar taking 3.
3. Yuvraj Singh
Indian Cricket has seen so many exciting youngsters turning into valuable assets. Yuvraj Singh was one of the limited overs all-rounders who helped India win many matches. When he scored his first ODI century his age was 21 years and 120 days. He missed being the youngest ODI century maker by just 120 days.
On April 11, 2003, Yuvraj scored 102 off 85 ball with 9 fours & 4 sixes against Bangladesh at Dhaka during TVS Cup. India were bowled out for 276. Bangladesh, in reply, were bowled out for 76 conceding India a massive 200 runs win with Zaheer Khan taking 4-for.
2. Virat Kohli
Indian Team’s current Batting sensation & record-holder of some of the fastest runs milestones, Virat Kohli is among the current era greats. When he scored his first ODI century his age was 21 years and 49 days. He missed being the youngest ODI century maker by just 49 days.
On December 24, 2009, Kohli scored 107 off 114 balls with 11 fours & a six. India were chasing a 316-runs target against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens. India won the match with almost two overs remaining. Gautam Gambhir top-scored for India with his career best 150 not out off 137 balls.

1. Vinod Kambli
Left-handed middle order player Vinod Kambli was one of those raw talent who could go places, but couldn’t go beyond a few accolades at the international level. When he scored his first ODI century his age was 21 years. Yes, he scored his first ODI century on his 21st birthday. He thus became the youngest Indian to score ODI Century. In fact he not only was the earliest among those we’re talking about, today, but such was his record that it stays intact even after well over two decades.
On January 18, 1993, Kambli scored 100 not out off 149 balls with 9 fours & a six. His childhood pal Sachin Tendulkar contributed 82 not out off 81 balls. India, riding on these two innings, scored 223. England chased down the target in an exciting thriller on the last ball.
