Sanatombi Chanu Leimapokpam and Bidyashwori Chanu Khaidem of India finished 9th and 12th in the Women’s Taolu-Taijiquan event at the 14th Wushu World Championship, Kazan 2017.
Sanatombi Chanu, Gold medalist from South Asian Games, scored 9.50 while Bidyashwori Chanu couldn’t even cross the 9 point mark and scored 8.88 points.
Indonesia’s Lindswell, Vietnam’s Khanh Ly Tran Thi and Japan’s Shiho Saito were on the podium with 9.67,9.64, 9.62 points respectively.
