VVS Laxman, or Very Very Special Laxman for his fans, is a former Indian Cricketer. With his wristy style of batting action is considered to be one of the most stylish batsmen in the history of Indian cricket. Laxman went on to play 134 Tests for India in a career spanning from 1996 to 2012. Widely remembered for the ‘best innings’ by an Indian batsman in Test cricket, for his 281 against Australia at Eden Gardens, Kolkata in the second test in the Australian cricket team’s tour of India in March 2001, where India won by a difference of 171 runs.
