Mumbai: Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman both are undeniably two of the finest batsmen India have produced.
While VVS Laxman brought in his 42nd birthday on Tuesday, old friend and teammate Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to deliver birthday wishes to the legendary cricketer.
Sehwag, whose unique tweets overtime have garnered a lot of popularity for it’s wit and charm, went all out again, leaving fans and followers in splits as he delivered consistent humour timed on the occasion of former teammate VVS Laxman’s birthday.
Similar to his philosophy while on the field, Viru visibly doesn’t believe in practicing restraint in his comments on various issues on the micro blogging site. The veteran batsman’s scorecard on social media, post retirement has been just as fierce while serving as his teams opener, as the times he has taken to the commentary box.
The right-hander is also notably seen to take firm stances on several controversial issues, which sets his Twitter handle apart from his other colleagues.
Apart from Sehwag, some of Laxman’s other former teammates such as Anil Kumble and Sachin Tendulkar came forth to wish the veteran as well.
