The Bhiwani sensation wins his fifth out of 5 appearances at professional boxing career. In his fifth bout, today at Stratford’s Copper Box Arena against veteran Matiouze Royer of France.
The Saturday bout was deemed as his toughest in a professional career which started 5 bouts back, all due to the fact the Royer was an experienced Professional boxer with 44 bouts under his experiences. This was not the only fact about the French, but there was another thing about him to terrorize any competitor. He has only been stopped twice in his career of seven years in professional rings, which means that Singh, 30, with just 4 bouts to his credits, will have to be at his very best when he takes on the French terror.
With this loss, the French terror has his third loss out of 45 appearances he had at professional rings
Speaking about the win, the Indian Boxing sensation commented,” I am happy for my fifth knockout win in a row. Facing an experienced boxer was not that easy for me but I played as per my basics and tried some new punches which helped me to win against Matiouze Royer.”
“The best part is that I started attacking Matiouze Royer from the starting of first round and my confidence level was gone up. He is a good fighter, I have seen his videos before this fight. With this win my morale is really up and I am confident of doing well in all future fights. My amateur experience is helping me but pro is totally different game, so I am looking forward to my next bout on 13 May before WBO Asia Title fight in India,”he concluded.
