And it all went according to the script till the 55th minute when Suarez scored Liverpool’s third to make it 3-0 Liverpool. However, there was drama still to come as Delaney and Dwight Gayle’s brace meant Liverpool had to settle for a 3-3 draw.
8. Stoke City vs Liverpool, 2014-15 Premier League

7. Liverpool vs AC Milan, 2007 UEFA Champions League Final
Two years after the miracle night in Istabul, Carlo Ancelloti’s AC Milan came back to take revenge on the same stage, the Champions League Final in Athens.

3. Fiorentina vs Liverpool, 2009-10 UEFA Champions League
For a team that featured in the Final of the last edition of the Champions League, bowing out at the group stage in the consequent stage was a disgrace.
