10. Liverpool 5 – 2 AS Roma, 2018-19 UEFA Champions League
Eusebio di Francesco’s Roma had stunned Barcelona in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, so they were expected to at least put up a fight against eventual runners-up Liverpool.
It barely went that way as Liverpool thrashed Roma 5-2 on the night with 2 goals from former Roma man Mo Salah.
9. Lazio 2 – 1 AS Roma, 1973-74 Serie A
A tightly contested Derby d’Italia in the first half of the season meant Lazio were pumped to deliver against Roma in the return leg.
The game was highly entertaining and finished 2-1 in Lazio’s favor with the famous “Long John” Giorgio Chinaglia scoring a stunner.
8. AS Roma 1 – 2 Torino, 2017-18 Coppa Italia Final
Roma were losing one of their club legends Danielle de Rossi to retirement and had the perfect chance to end on a high with a Cup triumph.
However, a shock defeat to lowly Torino meant they crashed out at the Round of 16 stage high and dry.

Losing a Cup Final is bad, losing it at home in front of a packed crowd to cross-town rivals is probably the worst feeling ever.
Roma lost to Lazio in the Final of the Coppa Italia thanks to a Lulic goal.
6. AS Roma 0 – 2 Fiorentina, 2014-15 Coppa Italia QuarterFinal
The Coppa Italia Quarterfinals were to be played between Europa League holders Roma and Fiorentina.
The smart money was on Roma, however the Reds of Rome failed to turn up as Fiorentina scored twice through Mario Gomez to come away with a 2-0 win to knock out Roma.
5. AS Roma 0 – 0 (2 – 4) Lazio, 2015-16 Coppa Italia
Spezia handed Roma the biggest surprise as they defeated the capital outfit 4-2 on penalties after a 0-0 draw in the Round of 16 stage of the Italian Cup.

4. AS Roma 1 – 2 Lazio, 2010-11 Serie A
Miroslav Klose took the centerstage when he represented Lazio in his first Derby da Capital with a late strike to win all three points and moreover bragging rights for the Blues of Rome.
The game is still one of the classics when it comes to Lazio-Roma encounters and tells the story of a prolific German striker who made his mark in Italy as well.

1. AS Roma 0 – 1 Lazio, 2004-05 Serie A
A game that sparked rumors in the Italian press that Roma had called for Totti’s head, Lazio celebrated their captain Paolo Di Canio’s return to Rome with a victory as the star himself scored an over-the-shoulder volley.
The man who had made his bow some 17 years back had come back to hurt his old foes.
