Ganguly and Shastri have commentated before and fans will be relishing the prospect of seeing the two back together. And it would also be interesting to note how Shastri and Ganguly gel amidst the the tension between the two of them.
Now, what happens to Ganguly the administrator? Well, he will finish three years in the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), in July, which means as per the Lodha Committee recommendations, he needs to go for a cooling-off period which temporarily bids adieu to Ganguly, the administrator. Ganguly currently is the president of the CAB. He joined the CAB as a joint secretary in July 2014 and was appointed as the president in September, 2015 after the demise of Jagmohan Dalmiya.
