Sourav Ganguly was a left handed top order batsman and a former captain of Indian Cricket team. “God of Off Side” he would be known as for his prowess to find gaps in even the most guarded offside. The Dada of Indian Cricket, Sourav Ganguly would have some very important wins for India in International cricket, like the NatWest Trophy and ICC Champions Trophy 2002 (jointly with Sri Lanka) and the Indian Cricket team under him would finish runners up in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2003.
Post his active career, Sourav Ganguly would turn to Cricket Administration and after a stint with Cricket Association of Bengal, he would be chose the 39th President of BCCI.
