Profile | Venus Williams is an American professional tennis player, who plays internationally since 1994. She is the elder sister of another tennis star Serena Williams and achieved her reorganization in WTA gloriously. Venus is considered a power-symbol of women athleticism and regarded for initiating a new era for females in the Women’s Professional Tennis Tour. She was ranked no. 1 by the WTA and became the first African American woman to rank so high in the Open Era tour. Currently, Venus ranked as No. 53 in Women’s Singles by the WTA ranking and appears in all formats of tennis. She started taking professional tennis training since the age of seven and her father was her primary coach at that time. She used to take her career-best base training session from Rick Macci Tennis Academy along with her sister Serena. She took participate in United States Tennis Association Junior Tour and soon ranked No. 1 for her contribution on that tournament. After this, her father took Venus and Serena out of the tennis academy and began their coaching at home all under his control. She is an amazing baseliner and mostly praised for her attacking all-court gaming style. She also has supremely ambitious curt-coverage and playing ability from the perfect defensive position in the court. Besides several achievements in tennis, she also has owned a degree in fashion designing from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
