Profile | Trent Boult is a New Zealand International Cricketer, who plays for the national cricket team of the country since 2011. He represents the Northern Districts team at the domestic level and plays an opening fast-medium pacer of the team in both fields. Before getting selected for the national New Zealand team, he used to play for the Country’s A-team at domestic level. He has made his debut in the international field through a test match in 2011 and then appeared in the rest formats of the game consecutively in 2012 and 2013. He has mostly noted for his fast-medium swing style bowling with the left hand and his adept ability to swing the bowl both ways. He can bowl with a high speed of 143 km/h and became one of the highest-speed pacers of New Zealand till date. Apart from bringing a charismatic opening bowler; Trent plays a moderate role with bats as well. Despite being a lower-order batsman, his ‘flamingo back defensive stroke’ in batting style has made him regarded among the new-age bowler. He has made a permanent place in the national New Zealand team with his skillful playing style and also named for the ICC World Cup squad 2019 successfully.
