Profile | Tom Curran is an English cricketer, who plays for the national England cricket team since 2017 in test and ODI formats. He is mostly known as Tom Curran and represents the Surrey Country Cricket Club squad in domestic cricket. Tom Curran is an all-rounder, who bats right-handed and bowls right-armed in fast-medium style. He has played cricket in all teenage stage of domestic level like Under-15, Under-17, Under-19, etc. Tom Curran got a chance to appear in the national cricket team due to his performance in First Class cricket match against Cambridge University in 2014. In 2017, he made his first ever international appearance in world cricket through an ODI match against West Indies. After this, he was included in the Test squad of the national England team in the same following year. He has been playing for the national England team since then and successfully named in England squad for the upcoming Cricket World Cup 2019. His amazing bowling style with 140-150 khp has made him regarded among the selectors from the days of Surrey tournaments. His sheer fighting ability in the situation of pressure and pace bowling as well as guile ability has made this English player a go-to man of the national team.
