Thisara Perera is an International Sri Lankan cricketer, who plays for the national cricket team of Sri Lanka since 2009. He has appeared in all formats of the game and captained Sri Lanka squad for limited over games as well. Thisara Perera is an all-rounder and currently plays only in shorter formats of the game. He represents Colts Cricket Club team in domestic circuit and plays as a bowling all-rounder in any format.

Perera is an aggressive lower middle-order left-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler, who is severe on the spin. Apart from being a pacer, he is also a pinch-hitter through the middle overs. His impactful performance level not only gave him direct entry to the international field but also, a place in the national team permanently.
