Tabraiz Shamsi is a South African Cricketer, who plays for all formats of cricket and has got immense success in the shorter format of this game. Shamsi is a slow left-arm china man bowler and playing for the national SA team since 2016. He also plays for several first-class teams in domestic level such as Dolphins, Gauteng, SA U-19, Lions, Titans, KwaZulu Natal, etc. His aggressive bowling style in shorter formats gave him a confidenceagainst batsmen. Thevariations and accuracy in bowling style have got him into the top-rated bowlers of this era.

He was born at Johannesburg of South Africa in 1990 and start taking professional cricket coaching after completing his schooling in Johannesburg High School. Shamsi is a wrist-spinner and already has made his debut in all three formats of this game within just 3-years of international cricket career.

At the beginning of his domestic cricket career, he played for the Gauteng team (in 2009). After this, Tabraiz Shamsi got his first big break in 2014 in Three-Day Cup with the Titans. The Caribbean Premier League was thebrightest opportunity Shamsi has in his hand to prove his bowling skill to the selector in 2015. Finally, he was selected for the IPL tournament for his expertise and after the Global T20 league in 2017, Shamsi made a permanent place in the national team. Unfortunately, this talented chinaman bowler remained unsold for the IPL 2019 tournament.
