Profile | Pankaj Advani is an Indian professional Billiards and Snooker player, who represented India internationally since 2002 in these sports. He is a 21-time world champion, who has also held the record of winning Asian and Indian National Championship titles too for four times. He started playing billiard and snooker from the age of 10 with the supervision of his skilled elder brother Sheer Advani. Within just 2 years of domestic career, Pankaj became a state-level champion in billiard and set various records in this field. In 2000, he bagged his first national-level achievement and became Junior Billiard Champion at the age of 15 only. In 2003, he became a junior-level champion in snooker also and gone for the senior-level championship for these two categories. He made his international billiard debut with the Asian Billiard Championship in 2002 and became the finalist with his first attempt. He started his wining trail in snooker since 2003 with the Amateur World Snooker Championship and in billiard with the IBSF World Billiards Championship in 2005. He kept the balance between these two sports brilliantly from the beginning but, move his focus only on billiard since 2014 for the men’s English Billiard category. Recently he won the Indian National Billiard Championship in 2017 and currently seemed focused on upcoming international billiard championships like a pro. |
