Profile | Noor Ali Zadran is an Afghan professional cricketer, who represents the Afghanistan cricket team internationally since 2009. Noor Ali is an opening batsman; he bats right-handedly and occasionally bowls in right-arm medium-fast style. He plays for Mis Ainak Region team in first-class cricket at domestic level. He shares a close relationship with one current international cricketer Mujeeb Ur Rahman; as he knew the uncle of this youngest Afghan-international cricket. Noor Ali appears only in the shorter formats of the game in limited over matches. Apart from first-class cricket, Noor Ali also played in List-A cricket, Twenty-20 franchise and age-based domestic tournaments for Under-17 and Under-19 Afghan teams. He made his domestic debut in 2004 with the Under-17 Cricket World Cup and played in Twenty20 cup in 2006 during the beginning domestic days. Twenty20 tournaments are the turning points of his domestic career, which led this talented Afghan batsman towards the international field. He considers Ricky Ponting as the inspirational figure of his cricket career. He made his international debut in 2009 through an ODI match and T20I debut in 2010 consecutively. His stable batting skills kept him an integral part of the national team of Afghanistan since then in ODI and T20I format.
