Profile | Mushfiqur Rahim is a Bangladeshi international cricketer, who plays for the national cricket team of Bangladesh since 2005. He appears in all formats of the game and plays the role of a regular wicketkeeper cum top-order batsman. Mushfiqur Rahim represents Rajshahi Division team at domestic level and plays for the Sylhet Super Stars in BPL franchise. He is a supremely skilled batsman and totally compatible to bat in anywhere in the top order number of batsmen, from 1 to 6. He used to play for all three formats of cricket till 2008 but currently seen in ODI format only. He has played for the Under-19 team of Bangladesh before getting entered in the national squad. He made his international debut in 2005 through a test match and completed his debut game successfully in the rest two formats of cricket in the next year. His adept batting expertise, especially seam bowling and uneven bounces, gave him immense success in the international field soon. He gradually became a regular member of the team and even served Bangladesh cricket team as vice-captain as well as a captain for a couple of matches. He is one of the most prised Bangladeshi batsmen of recent times, who score some envious runs along with the appreciable strike rates in his long career graph.
