Profile | Mosaddek Hossain is a Bangladeshi International cricketer, who plays for the national cricket team of Bangladesh since 2016. He used to play for all three formats of the game but hasn’t played a single test or T20Is after 2018. Currently, Mosaddek Hossain appears only in ODI format of the game. He represents Dhaka Division team in first-class cricket and Abahani Limited squad in List-A circuit. Mosaddek is a batting all-rounder, who bats right-handedly and occasionally bowls in right-armed off spin style. He played for Bangladesh Under-19 team for two times in his domestic career graph. He captained the team as well in limited over matches for several series during his domestic cricket days. He made his impact deep with his powerful performances in first-class and List-A matches for Dhaka Division, Abahani Limited, East Zone, Barisal Division, etc. teams. Mosaddek selects for the national team of Bangladesh due to his impressive presentation in the regional cricket arena. He made his international debut in 2016 through a T20I match and ODI debut late in the same following year. Mosaddek made his test debut in 2017 against Sri Lanka but restricted himself from that format within 1 year after playing only two matches. He contains a unique batting style of footwork against spin and ease against pace, that gave him a quick success in the international field. In April 2019, he was named in the Bangladeshi team for the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. (as Compiled by Madhushree Das Ghosh) (Profile Image from Facebook) |
