Profile | Mohammad Hafeez is a Pakistani cricketer, who plays for the national Pakistan team since 2003. He used to appear in all formats of the game but currently plays in ODI format only. He is an all-rounder, who bats right-handedly and bowls off-break. He has played numbers of tournaments in domestic cricket before making his way in the national team of Pakistan. He has captained the Pakistan squad in the T20 format in 2012 and served as vice-captain as well in ODI format in the same following year. He started his journey to the international field through an ODI match against Zimbabwe in 2003. After this, Mohammad Hafeez made his test debut in the same following year and T20I debut lately in 2006. He has continued his journey in test format till 2018 and announced his retirement officially after his 55th test match. The serene cover drive in his bowling and unpredictable intelligent style in batting has made him one of the most successful all-rounders of all time. His success rate is way better in shorter formats of the game than test cricket. |
