Matt Henry is a New Zealand International cricketer, who has been playing for the national team since 2014. He used to play in all three formats of the game but currently, appears in test and ODI formats of the game only. He has represented the Canterbury team in domestic cricket before got selected for the national team. Matt Henry has also played for Worcestershire in county circuit before selecting for the New Zealand national team.

In 2014, he made his first international debut through an ODID match and progressively continued his journey in world cricket till the present days. Gradually he became a bustling pacer of the team with his consistent speed of bowling 140/kph. He has an ability to move the bowl both ways and swing the ball than the progress off the pitch adeptly. This talented bowler has got enlisted himself in the New Zealand Squad for the 2019 ICC World Cup.
