Profile | Jimmy Neesham is a New Zealand International cricketer, who has been playing from the national side since 2012. He plays for all formats of the game and represents the Auckland team in domestic cricket. He used to play for Otago squad in first-class cricket till 2018 as a regular member. Jimmy Neesham got selected for the national New Zealand team in 2012 for the T20I game format. After this, he has made his ODI as well as Test debut consecutively in 2013 and 2014 as an all-rounder. He is a left-handed middle-order batsman and right-arm medium blower. He shone for the very first time in the Under-19 World Cup in domestic cricket and grabbed the eyes of the selector for the national selection. His charismatic performance with both bat and bowl has made him a significant part of the national team successfully. He is named for the New Zealand squad in 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. |
