Profile | Jason Behrendorff is an Australian cricketer who plays for the shorter formats of the game. He is a left-arm fast medium bowler and occasionally bats as a lower -order batsman. Behrendorff was born in 1990 in New South Wales and used to play for the Australian Capital Territory at junior as well as senior levels. At the age of 20, he made his state-level debut in the Western Australian team. After this, Behrendorff has represented the Prime Minister XI team in 2009. After playing plenty of domestic matches for Western Australia, Behrendorff got a chance for in the national team in 2017. His bowling statistics in domestic cricket with Australia A team at Sheffield Shield, etc made this happen. His capability of extract bounce from any surface aids Behrendorff gain his popularity among the selectors. He also has a unique quality of swinging the ball significantly in both ways. Apart from that, Behrendorff also regarded as an all-format bowler because of the depth of his bowling repertoire. This tall and talented Australian bowler has made his debut in IPL this year, after showing his immense bowling talent in other short format games.
