Fakhar Zaman is a Pakistani cricketer, who plays for Pakistan national cricket team since 2017. He is an opening batsman and plays for all formats of the game till present days. Fakhar Zaman was a former Navy sailor and represented the Pakistan Navy Cricket team in domestic circuit. He is one of the top-rated batsmen of Pakistan team in recent times and occasionally bowls in a slow left-arm orthodox style as well.
He used to get his initial cricket training in Pakistan Navy School at the beginning of his career. Getting inspired by his navy coach Azam Khan, he pursued his career in the international field of cricket and made his way in the national team in 2017. Apart from being an opening batsman, he also keeps the wicket for some international matches.
