Profile | Dawlat Zadran is an Afghan cricketer, who plays from the national side of Afghanistan since 2011. He appears only in limited-over games and represents Band-e-Amir team in domestic circuit. Dawlat is a pacer in the team; he bowls in right-arm fast-medium style and occasionally bats as a right-handed lower-order batsman. Before entering the national team of Afghanistan, he used to play for List-A and first-class team for his country at domestic level. Dawlat made his international debut through an ODI match during the 2011-13 ICC Intercontinental Cup. In the very next year, he made his T20I debut against Netherland and has been a regular pacer of the team since then. He can bowl with a speed of 145.3 km/h and seems quite handy with the willow with his accurate pace skills. Despite having all potentiality, Dawlat hasn’t made his test debut yet so far and still restricted in the shorter format of the game in limited-over matches. He had selected for the test squad in 2018 but unfortunately got injuries during a training session and couldn’t make his dream debut against India in 2018. However, luckily he has cured his knee injury now and currently enlisted in the Afghanistan squad for 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. (as Compiled by Madhushree Das Ghosh) (Profile Image from Facebook)
