Today we bring you the eight players bought by SRH for IPL 2021. The David Warner led Sunrisers Hyderabad are still searching for their second Indian Premier League title and they’d like to change some histories in 2021 edition of the much awaited league after winning the tournament in 2016 season. While they released Billy Stanlake, Fabian Allen, Sanjay Yadav, Billy Sandeep and Yarra Prithvi Raj to change some luck for the upcoming season, here we talk about 8 players bought by SRH for IPL 2021 season.
Jagadeesha Suchith
Mysuru born Karnataka Left-Arm Spin Bowler will be among the young cricketers looking to extend their career in the cash-rich league. Suchith, who has been part of Chennai Super Kings, Kings XI Punjab & Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League previously, is among the three players bought by SRH for IPL 2021 season. The Sun TV Network’s team spent 30 lacs Indian Rupees for this purchase against the base price of 20 Lacs in the IPL 2021 auctions. Suchith was released by the Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) team just before the auctions.
Mujeeb Zadran
The Afghan Off-break bowler has been part of Indian Premier League for quite a some time now. Mujeeb Ur Rahman Zadran, during his T20 league career across the globe, has already played for Bengal Tigers, Brisbane Heat, Comilla Victorians, Comilla Warriors, Cumilla Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, Kabul Zalmi, Kings XI Punjab, Mis Ainak Knights & Peshawar Zalmi.
Zadran was released by his IPL 2020 team Kings XI Punjab just before the IPL 2021 auctions and he was picked by Sunrisers to be among the three players bought by SRH for IPL 2021 season. Mujeeb Ur Rahman is the second costliest purchase for the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad based team with 1.5 Crores Indian Rupees, though it doesn’t even come close to the top 5 of the expensive purchases of the season.
Kedar Jadhav
Pune born Kedar Mahadev Jadhav is not a new name for Indian premier league followers. The middle order batsman has been party to some of the thrilling chases of Indian International team as well in past. In the Indian T20 league, Jadhav has already played for Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Daredevils, Kochi Tuskers Kerala & Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Kedar was part of MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings in last edition, but his non-performance combined with utter failure of the team costed him his place as the Chennai franchise released him prior to the IPL 2021 auctions. He, though, got confidence of the Sunrisers as he is among the three players bought by SRH for IPL 2021 season. Kedar Jadhav was the most expensive purchase of the team which had the least amount as budget for the new players. Jadhav costed the Kalanithi Maran’s team 2 Crores Indian Rupees which was his base price as well.
That’s all for today friends as these were the three players bought by SRH for IPL 2021 season. Hope your liked the content; don’t forget to put in your thoughts & questions as comments.
