With these wickets, Anderson featured in the top 5 list of the most wickets in Champions Trophy 2013. His best was 3/30 at Edgbaston, Birmingham against Australia on June 8. England had batted first and had scored 269/6 from their overs with Ian Bell’s 91 & Ravi Bopara‘s 46 not out. 2. Mitchell McClenaghan (New Zealand)
The New Zealand Medium Pacer Mitchell John McClenaghan would pick 11 wickets from the three matches he played in the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 at an average of 13.09 & strike rate of 13. With these wickets, McClenaghan featured in the top 5 list of the most wickets in Champions Trophy 2013. His best was 4/43 against Sri Lanka on June 9. Batting first, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 138 with McClenaghan (4), Kyle Mills (2) & Nathan McCullum (2) being the key tormentors. New Zealand chased down the target and won by one wicket. With these wickets, Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja led the top 5 list of the most wickets in Champions Trophy 2013. His best was 5/36 against West Indies, in their first match of the tournament. Batting first, the Windies team made 233/9, Johnson Charles (60) & Daren Sammy (56 not out) were the key scorers. Jadeja (5 wickets) was the lead wicket-taker for India. Shikhar Dhawan (102 not out), Dinesh Karthik (51 not out) & Rohit Sharma (52) made sure that India won by 7 wickets.
