With these wickets, Mills featured in the top 5 list of the most wickets in Champions Trophy 2009. His best was 3/27 against arch-rivals Australia in the tournament final. The England Fast Bowler Stuart Christopher John Broad would pick 10 wickets from the three matches he played in the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 at an average of 15.50 & strike rate of 16.9. With these wickets, Broad featured in the top 5 list of the most wickets in Champions Trophy 2009. His best was 4/39 at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg against New Zealand on September 29. England had batted first and were bowled out for 146. Grant Elliott & Shane Bond were the key tormentors. Batting first, New Zealand were bowled out for 214 despite Ross Taylor’s 72. Parnell took 5 while Dale Steyn & Roelof van der Merwe took 2 wickets each. South Africa chased down the target and won by five wickets; AB de Villiers scored 70 not out in this successful chase.
