With these wickets, Kulasekara featured in the top 5 list of the most wickets in Asia Cup 2016. His best was 3/10 against UAE on February 25, in the second match of the tournament. Batting first, Sri Lanka had scored 129/8 from their overs with Dinesh Chandimal scoring a 50. Amjad Javed took 3 wickets while Mohammad Shahzad & Mohammad Naveed took 2 wickets each. The Pakistan Left arm medium pacer would pick 7 wickets from the four matches he played in the ACC Asia Cup 2016 at an average of 11.57. With these wickets, Amir featured in the top 5 list of the most wickets in Asia Cup 2016. His best was 3/18 against arch-rivals India in the fourth match of the tournament on February 27, a match that Pakistan lost by 5 wickets.
1. Al-Amin Hossain (Bangladesh)
The Bangladesh Right-arm medium pacer Al-Amin Hossain would pick 11 wickets from the five matches he played in the ACC Asia Cup 2016 at an average of 12.18. With these wickets, Hossain led the top 5 list of the most wickets in Asia Cup 2016. His best was 3/25 against Pakistan on March 2. Pakistan had scored 129/7, batting first, with Sarfaraz Ahmed’s 58 not out & Shoaib Malik’s 41. Hossain (3), Arafat Sunny (3), Taskin Ahmed (1) & Mashrafe Mortaza (1) were the wicket-takers.
