3. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (Leeds United)
Former AZ Alkmaar Footballer Jerrel Floyd Hasselbaink was with Leeds United during 1997–1999. Jimmy would score 18 goals for the team during the 1998–99 tournament. With these goals, the Dutch Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in Premier League 1998-99. His team would win 18, lose 13 & draw 7 from the season to finish at 4th in the 20 team competition and hence they qualified to UEFA Cup first round.

The England Footballer, Michael James Owen, played for Liverpool during 1996-2004. Michael Owen would score 18 goals for his team during the 1998–99 tournament. With these goals, the Chester born Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in Premier League 1998-99. The Anfield based Club would win 15, lose 14 & draw 9 to finish 7th in the team table. Owen would play for the England national team during 1998–2008.

The Red Devils would win their fifth as they would lead the most titles winners list with 4 titles lead over other Champions.
