His team would win 26, lose 11 & draw 5 from the competition to finish second in the team table of tournament edition and qualify for the UEFA Cup first round. His team would win 20, lose 10 & draw 12 from the competition to finish fifth in the tournament edition and qualify for the UEFA Cup first round. Tenerife would score 69 goals in the tournament edition, while they would concede 54 goals in the tournament edition.
