Former Clube de Regatas Brasil Footballer Josimar da Silva Martins would score 16 goals for Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi based Chirag United Club Kerala during the Hero I-League 2009-10 tournament. With these goals, this Brazilian Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in I-League 2009-10.
2. Ekene Ikenwa (Salgaocar)
Former Rangers International Football Club Footballer Ekene Michael Ikenwa would go on to score 16 goals for Tilak Maidan Stadium, Vasco based Salgaocar Football Club during the Hero I-League 2009-10 tournament. With these goals, the Nigerian Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in I-League 2009-10. Ikenwa came to Indian Football tournament with Salgaocar in 2009 season.

Former Muktijoddha Sangsad KC Footballer Odafa Onyeka Okolie would score 21 goals for Fatorda Stadium based Churchill Brothers Football Club Goa during the Hero I-League 2009-10 tournament. With these goals, this former Mohammedan Sporting Football Club Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in I-League 2009-10, in fact leading the list. Okolie would score a hat-trick during the season, against Chirag United Kerala.
