Today we bring you the footballers who hit the most goals in Euro 1984. The UEFA European Championship 1984 was the seventh edition of the European football tournament hosted by France during June 12- 27, 1984. Eight teams qualified for the final tournament. A total of 15 matches were played in the tournament across 7 venues, group stage round robin matches with 8 teams divided into two groups followed by semifinals and tournament final. 7. Rudi Völler

The Sporting Gijón Footballer was part of the Spain team since 1981. Antonio Maceda Francés would hit 2 goals from matches he played during the tournament. With these 2 goals, this Sagunto born Footballer got himself among the footballers who scored the most goals in Euro 1984. His team, Spain, would go on to play the tournament final of UEFA Euro 1984 and lost the match by 0-2. Lobo Carrasco & Santillana were the other goal-scorers for the runners-up.
3. Jean-François Domergue
The Toulouse Footballer was part of the France team since 1984. Jean-François Domergue would hit 2 goals from matches he played during the tournament. His team, France, would go on to play the tournament final of UEFA Euro 1984 winning their first title. His team, Denmark, would go on to play the UEFA Euro 1984 semifinal at Stade de Gerland, Lyon but lost to Spain.

The Juventus Footballer was part of the France team in UEFA Euro 1984, was a part of the team since 1975. Michel François Platini would hit 9 goals from the matches he played during the tournament. With these 9 goals, this Jœuf born Saint-Étienne Footballer got himself to lead the footballers with the most goals in Euro 1984. His team, riding on his performance and other goal-scorers like Domergue, Bruno Bellone, Luis Fernández & Alain Giresse would go on to win their first UEFA Euro tournament, defeating Spain 2-0 at Parc des Princes, Paris with Platini & Bellone scoring in the final. Among the greatest footballers of all time of France, Platini won the Ballon d’Or for the three times, in 1983, in 1983 and in 1985.

The tournament was a round robin group stage followed by knock-out with 8 teams divided into two groups and top two of each groups would proceed to semifinals, winners there would go to title clash. Hosts France & Spain played the tournament final with France winning the contest of 90 minutes and the trophy. Portugal and Denmark were the other semifinalists.
