Kallis was the right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler and considered as the most reliable batsman of South Africa. Kallis had always helped his team with his all-round performance during the matches. In the World Cup 2007 tournament, he scored 128 runs while facing 109 deliveries and helped his team to win against Netherlands.

AB de Villiers (South Africa)

Australia won the World cup & Gilchrist won the man of the match award.

Matthew Hayden (Australia)
Hayden was a powerful and aggressive left-handed batsmen, opened the innings for Australia. He played attacking cricket and scored runs quickly in all formats of the game. His inning of 158 runs of 143 balls was one of the three centuries that he made in the World Cup 2007 tournament, even before the team reaches into the Super 8 stage.
Imran Nazir (Pakistan)
Imran Nazir, the opening batsman of Pakistan, had played aggressive cricket and always liked playing lofting shots. His innings of 160 runs of 121 balls against Zimbabwe was full of fours and sixes. It was the only match where Pakistan made a huge score to win but were knocked out of the tournament in the next match against the Netherlands.
