Kolkata: City’s premier rowing club, The Lake Club will host its 45th KC Mahindra All India Invitation School Regatta from May 23 to June 3 at their Rabindra Sarobar watercourse.
The competition will see almost all top city schools locking horns with La Martinere Lucknow and DAV Chandigarh in another three types of competition after the regatta hours on each day of the carnival.

The organisers, in a press briefing at the club premises, claimed to be the playing host to the country’s largest inter-school regatta in the recent past. “We are doing this to promote rowing among school-goers and at the same time tap talent capable of making it to the national level or more from the state level,” convenor Arup Chakraborty said.
